Foundation.lk – Digitally Empowering Communities

Foundation.lk is a not-for-profit organization established by LK Domain Registry, Sri Lanka. Our mission is to empower Sri Lankans by digital inclusion. Through our innovative programs and events, we are committed to building a more digitally connected and resilient society, ensuring that all communities have access to the opportunities and tools needed for a brighter, tech-driven future.

The foundation’s key initiatives include:

• Skill Development through suhurusara.lk – A dynamic e-learning platform offering interactive courses in local languages on topics such as web design, programming, and multimedia. Suhurusara bridges the digital divide by providing accessible, high-quality training for students, youth, and professionals, fostering digital literacy across both urban and rural communities.
• Cyber Safety through hithawathi.lk – A dedicated cyber safety help desk and comprehensive online platform providing guidance and support to individuals facing cyber harassment, cyberbullying, and other online threats. With free trilingual assistance, Hithawathi ensures a safer cyberspace for women, children, and all Sri Lankans, promoting awareness and the prevention of cyber threats.
• Digitally Empowering Communitites through nenasala.lk – A nationwide initiative focused on strengthening Sri Lanka’s digital learning hubs. By enhancing numerous Nenasala centers, this project aims to provide underserved communities with greater access to ICT education, e-governance services, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
